Warren Associates, Inc. solved numerous obstacles in constructing a 10,000 SF addition and 2,000 SF renovation at the Perry Hospital. Our project involved the addition of nine private patient rooms, two of which were isolation rooms, and moving and renovating a Nurse’s Station, Meds Room, Nourishment Room, and Clean & Soiled Utility Rooms.
Patient and staff safety was our top priority.
Warren Associates, Inc. was contacted by Wesleyan College for a design-build project—a simulation laboratory for it’s new nursing program. Converting a classroom into a high-tech mock-up of four hospital rooms required installing state-of-the-art technical equipment including four robots.
Through creativity, cooperation with school officials, and working some nights and weekends, Warren Associates finished the job under budget and with no lost-time accidents.
This project was a transformation of an abandoned Walmart building in Forsyth, GA into a mall for physicians and other medical services. As work began, Warren Associates, Inc. corrected code violations overlooked by Walmart. Warren Associates invited public safety officers to tour the site and gave them keys in case of an after-hours emergency. To help the Owner, Warren Associates got city approval of signage and parking plans and secured a legal easement for a handicapped ramp.
In July 2011, a special purpose local option sales tax included an agreement for Bibb County to absorb Macon’s engineering department. The county sought proposals for a $1 million renovation and expansion of an old engineering complex to accommodate the new Macon-Bibb County employees. Only eight weeks were allowed for the job’s completion. The project was completed early and well within budget.
