Fort Hawkins, the birthplace of Macon-Bibb County, continues to make history at the site of the early American fort and frontier. The Fort Hawkins Commission has been dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage found at the site off Emery Highway, just down from the Ocmulgee National Monument and downtown Macon, GA.
The Thomas Jackson Juvenile Justice Center is a new 25,000 SF facility in downtown Macon, GA that not only houses Courtrooms, Judges Offices, District Attorney Offices, and Court Clerk Offices, but also provides various social services designed to help at-risk youths stay out of the criminal justice system through diversionary programs.. The facility also provides a separation between the juvenile and adult offenders.
Warren Associates, Inc. was awarded this project in 2014, and it was the construction of a building at the GPSTC in Forsyth, Georgia to provide active shooter response training for Law Enforcement personnel. It contains classrooms and simulation rooms.
Warren Associates, Inc. designed and installed moveable walls to allow room sizes to be changed.
Guillebeau Hall at Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia is a historic two-story building that Warren Associates, Inc. transformed it’s main floor from dorm space to a media center and reference library. Classroom instructors and other were housed on the second floor. Access was limited and the project was on a high traffic corner.
